I’m home for summerrrrr!  Which means I can finally bake again!  I was honestly going through withdrawals without my kitchen, but I made it.  I present coconut cupcakes with a salted caramel sauce center (homemade of course) with a chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream (hate that it tastes so good because it is a pain to make) topped with some toasted coconut.  So much for that summer bod…

I love lemon.  Like LOVE lemon, and the Meyer lemon tree was bursting with lemons when I was home over spring break.  I present to you Meyer lemon poppy seed cupcakes with a super citrusy  lemon  buttercream frosting.

Snickerdoodle cupcakes!  I went to a whole new level of cinnamon (or should I say cinnaMOAN because that’s what some people were doing when these cupcakes gave them a foodgasm)  Cinnamon flavor bursts in the cake, cinnamon buttercream, topped with a snickerdoodle made with mini cinnamon chips!  This one’s going in my some-day-to-be-bakery.

I spent my Christmas Eve baking.  ALL OF IT.  (More like 6 hours but still…!)  This is a Bavarian cream braid.  It is 15 cream-filled inches (lol) of Bavarian heaven covered in chocolate.  Merry Christmas everybody!
